10/2013 PhD: Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications/ Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Canada; 07/2009 MSc: Faculty of Engineering/ Electronics/ Arab Academy for Science and technology, Egypt.

Main research work: the generation of intense THz radiation based on organic crystals (mainly DAST); use such sources for time-resolved nonlinear applications (pump-probe spectroscopy), such as the excitation of ultrafast dynamics in solids and chemistry; combine such sources with the large scale X-ray free electron laser (Swiss FEL) being built in Switzerland.

Achievements: More than 20 SCI papers, 3 Nature Communication articles , 1 European international invention patent and so on.
